Every year Aqua Narrowboats holds two canal boat open days & Crick Boat Show is attended annually. The canal boat open days are at their base, Mercia Marina, in Derbyshire where they display their latest bespoke narrowboats and maybe a hire boat if one is available. Everyone is welcome to step aboard the narrowboats that have been lovingly prepared for the day, visitors are welcomed by the owners or a member of the team that will show them round and answer any boat building questions or canal boat holiday they may have.

Crick Boat Show

Crick Boat Show is the largest inland waterways boat show in the country. It is where you will find all the canal boat builders displaying their latest builds, chandlers selling their products and furniture stalls selling bespoke interiors to fit into small spaces. It has become a real festival of the canal and many people stay for the whole weekend, enjoying the entertainment, the beer tent and soak up the beautiful canal environment.
